What kind of equipment do you use?
We use high-end professional sound systems including Denon mixing boards, Numark mp3 players, and Electro-Voice speakers - all powered by 1,600-watt QSC amplifiers. A UHF wireless microphone system and festive lighting is included in all packages.
How much and what kind of music do you have?
Each DJ has over 16,000 songs in his library including the most current pop/top 40 hits. We have helpful song lists so that you may customize what we play. If we don't yet have a specific request - we'll purchase it. (That's how we build our collection.)
How do you dress, and will you eat or take breaks?
We wear a tuxedo for wedding receptions or more casual attire, if requested. We won't eat or drink alcoholic beverages, and we won't take unnecessary breaks. The music is played continuously for the entire event.
Who chooses the music that will be played?
You may have as much control over the music selection as you wish, or you can simply leave it up to us. We'll work with you to provide the right mix for you and your guests. We also provide a "Top 200" list of popular dance songs you can use as a guide to select tunes for your special occasion.
Do you just play music?
We act as the emcee and coordinate all planned activities with the other professionals. We specialize in interacting with guests so they participate in the celebration.
How would you describe your style?
Our approach can vary from low-key to highly interactive depending on the wishes of the customer. In a nutshell - classy but fun. We put the spotlight on the guests of honor and not ourselves. As professional DJ's, we realize our job is to facilitate a memorable occasion for everyone.
Will I know which DJ will perform at my event?
Yes. Your DJ's name is on the contract so you know exactly who you're getting. Without knowing your DJ, how will you know if his experience and qualifications meet your expectations? Are you licensed and insured, and do you belong to any organizations?
We are licensed by the state of Florida (#0205473) and carry $1,000,000 liability insurance through the Fireman's Fund. Also, we are members of the National Association of Catering Executives, the Better Business Bureau, and the American Disc Jockey Association.
Do you play at wedding ceremonies?
Yes. Our ceremony package includes music and a wireless microphone for the officiate. We start with 15 minutes of prelude music, we play the processionals, interlude music (if necessary), and the recessional.
How much do you charge?
Our 4-hour wedding reception rate ranges from $495-$895, depending on the date, time of day and distance traveled. Each additional hour is $150. There are no taxes, set-up fees, or other charges and a 30% deposit is asked to reserve your DJ. For an exact quote, it's best to call or request one from this website. Back to Top
